It is unplayable! I played three games and deleted it. In those three games the computer rolled doubles 14 times to my 1. I would look at the board, notice the roll the computer need to harm me, and it would always get that roll. Fix the AI and you might have a decent game, but until then it is a waste of money.

I have played well over a thousand games on this app. Great UI and it is wonderful in two player mode. Sadly the idiot developer rigged the Ai. What a moron. The first Ai was too easy to beat. Even with rigged rolls you could game its doubling strategy. Then he installed what he claims is bgblitz a well know Ai publicly available. At first I thought it was real and just insanely good. Then the rolls just kept coming in weird ways and I started to get suspicious. So I used the feature the developer added where you can create your own rolls using real dice. Suddenly I was crushing the game where before it was beating me at least 30 percent more. I am livid right now. What a idiot the developer is.

This game is really not so good. Maybe you get a lot of good features when you pay $4.99 for the upgraded playing engine but I had rather just delete than try it. This game deserves one star, but I am in a good mood this morning

The opponent (computer) just tossed a 5 and 3 dice but moved 5 and 2 so it could hit my checker. Need I say more? If you like to play with a program that is rigged and I mean RIGGED, then this app is for you. I want my money back!!!

For the life of me, I cannot comprehend why this program is still being sold on iTunes. The obvious problem with the “randomness” that this game claims it has with regard to dice rolls is an absolute joke! I continue to play this game simply because of my twisted masochistic need to revel in the obvious rigging evident in the die rolls of this game. The number of complaints concerning this problem are evident. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!

I played quite a few games. Only won 1. Every time I have a guy exposed, the computer magically gets the exact number to knock me to the bar. I tried leaving 3 guys exposed, just to see what would happen. It took two in its first turn, then the other in its next. Then I put the computer on the bar. It never rolled more than once to get off, but I could roll 6-8 times. I was way ahead, needed only 4 guys home, the computer repeatedly rolled doubles to beat me until it won. CHEAT, CHEAT. Sorry I spent money on this. Junk!

This developer was not intelligent enough to design an honest app so he designed one to cheat, and cheat it does. It is brutal and relentless and truly unbelievable. Expect him to close his board quickly, roll lots of doubles, have easy entry when hit, and more often than not, a miracle roll which alters the course of the game. He keeps you on the bar forever while he quickly races his pieces around the board. Its like playing an opponent that can pick his own roll at least 10 times during the game, or more. If you are not really, really good, this app will crush your spirit. You will sit there cursing in disbelief as you get dice cheated in every single game. Heres two of his favorites. You throw a 6-4 or a 5-1 opening role and split your back men. He immediately hits and gives you a 6-6 which you cant use. He then rolls a 1-1 or 3-3 and youre in big trouble. And it continues. You have a complete inner board except for the 4 or 5 spot and one straggler just outside while he has 2 men on the bar. He throws 4-4 or 5-5, brings both men in, hits your straggler, and goes on to win the game with lots of doubles. Despite the fact that I am good enough to beat him 99% of the time in a 7 point match or above, it still pisses me off that he has the nerve to claim that the game doesnt cheat. What a douche! It is so freakin obvious! To win, you must use the cube. This is where he is inept but you still must be careful for even then it might not be easy. If you are peeling off and have no men on the 5/3 spots, you will roll a 5-3. If you have an odd number of men on the 6/5 spots when you are peeling off and he has a man on the bar, he will give you double sixes or fives and then hit your remaining blot. Despite all of this, I love when he accepts my double and I go on to gammon him. It cancels out 4 of his cheating games. If it wasnt for the nice wooden board and pieces, I would delete this in a heartbeat. There arent enough derogatory words in my vocabulary to describe what I think of this developers sense of fair play. This is the only game I have written a review for, because having this moron make any money on this game would be a REAL crime. Try to predict what a cheater would throw. Youd be amazed how often you get it right. When he hits you and only has his 2-5 covered, you will throw a 2-5. If he has the 1-4 covered, you will throw a 1-4. Naturally, you will get your double sixes right after he hits you. Be aware, these are not rigged rolls every once in a while, this is a constant relentless cheating attack from the opening roll right up until the last roll of the game. Bottom line is you will never get not even one honest game with this app. Somewhere, somehow, you will be cheated, even in the games you win and especially in the games you think you are completely in control of. Its inevitable because the game was designed to do that. Im sure he is laughing when reviewers ask him to fix the app, but I am laughing last, at least until the novelty of beating this cheater wears off and I delete this app.

You always know what the roll of the dice is going to be for the opponent. No predictability, no room for strategy.

But where you dont stand a chance is its programmed to land on wherever you have 1 checker( begging to be disproved on this theory

When you choose advance setting against the computer, the opponent move should be the best move and I get that. But I believe the dice should be random. In this game, all the dice is controlled. This is not a fair game. When your chips cleared each other and you are in a race to finish, the computer gets three doubles in a row and you get 1-3 four times in a row!! Youve got to be kidding! that makes you feel like youre cheated. It is not under the random fair game but rather playing against "difficulty" level of dice Ai. I like backgammon so I give one extra star for this app.

Have been playing this game on my iPhone and iPad for years -- its my go-to game. Love it!!
